  • Harris Tweed is hand woven on a treadle loom in the home of each weaver on the isle of Lewis, not at a mill.

    After its story began in 1846, Harris Tweed became the only fabric in the world to be protected by a law of parliament "The Harris Tweed Act" 1933.

    Not suitable for washing, or ironing.

    We chose the name Clò Mòr Bow as it translates to "The Great Cloth Bow" which is perfectly apt for such a globally revered fabric.
